Cub Scouting Is for Every Family

Every great adventure starts with a first step! Pack 389 welcomes all children in kindergarten through fifth grade who are ready to explore, learn new skills, make friends, and have fun.

No Scouting experience or special gear is needed to get started. Whether your child loves the outdoors, enjoys hands-on projects, or simply wants to try something new, there's a place for them in Cub Scouts.

Do Your Best. Have Fun. Help Others. That's what Cub Scouting is all about!

How to Join the Adventure

1. Come Visit Us

Join us for a pack meeting and see Cub Scouting in action! We meet every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at:

Butterfield Elementary School (43800 Honeycutt Rd Maricopa, AZ 85139)

Please email us before your visit so we know to expect you.

2. Meet Your Den

Your child will meet other Scouts in their grade and jump into a fun activity, game, or hands-on project. Parents can meet our leaders, learn how the pack works, and ask questions.

3. Get Registered

When you're ready, a pack leader will help you complete the youth application and explain the next steps. We'll guide you through the process so your family can focus on the fun ahead!

Affordable Adventures for Everyone

We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience Scouting. Our pack works to keep costs affordable, and fundraising activities, including our fall popcorn sale, help support pack events and activities.

Financial assistance is available, and no child will be turned away because of financial hardship. Please speak privately with our Cubmaster if your family needs assistance.
