About Pack 389
Who we are
Cub Scout Pack 389 is a family-friendly pack serving Maricopa kids from kindergarten through fifth grade. Cub Scouts do their best and have fun doing it — our program is built around games, hands-on activities, and outdoor adventure sized just right for younger kids.
What we do
- Pack meetings — monthly themes, skits, and award presentations
- Den activities — small groups by grade, meeting regularly
- Family camping — one-night campouts with grown-ups welcome
- Pinewood Derby — build and race wooden cars with the whole family
- Service — food drives and park cleanups that show kids they can help
How it works
Kids join a den based on their grade, and dens come together for pack meetings once a month. Along the way they earn adventure belt loops, patches, and rank badges. Parents and guardians are part of the fun — Cub Scouting runs on family involvement.
Our leaders
All of our den leaders and pack volunteers are trained and youth-protection trained, and many are parents of Cub Scouts in the pack. New volunteers are always welcome!
